Impeller part

I need to buy a new sea water pump impeller and would appreciate some help with the correct part number. I have an inboard MerCruiser Black Scorpion 350. I downloaded Service Manual #24 (not even sure that's the right one since it says nothing about Black Scorpion), but it's silent on the impeller part number.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Re: Impeller part

Is this an inboard or an I/O drive?

It's an inboard. Engine SN is L393678.

How do I get the part # for a new impeller?

Re: Impeller part

ok I finally got the part number.

Is it standard to go ahead and replace the impeller and gaskets, or is it ok to just try replacing the impeller only at this point?

Trying to diagnose the engine overheating while sitting at idle for a few minutes right after putting in. The overheat issue immediately goes away when I gas it and get the sea water moving.

Re: Impeller part

sounds like the impeller needs replaced and do replace the gaskets at the same time. If you lost any pieces of the old impeller find them. good luck, Bill.
