impeller removal

Its amazing what you find!<br />I've got an 1986 75hp Mariner 4 cylinder in line, inherited from Dad. Time to instal new impeller- How do I go about it? :confused:

Adair,<br /><br />Number one. Get a manual. You can get them on this site (very reasonable). For what you are going to do, Seloc or Clymer's is OK. You can probably find one at the local library and copy the pages that you need, for now.<br /><br />You'll thank yourself later.<br /><br />I know that's not what you wanted to hear, but I guarentee, you'll need it later.

What djohns said.<br />I can garuantee you it will pay for itself. Not just on this job,but all the rest of it.<br />And most public libraries do have them for emergency weekend repairs,,as djohns stated. They sure come in handy if you are werkin on someone else's motor, and don't want to spend the guy's green...But I do anyway (because the owner usually could've fixed it if he had it).
