Remember to remove the speedometer line before dropping it as it is a pain if it,s loose and you have to try to disconnect it at that point. Be sure to get all bolts loose as on some engines there is one hidden under the trim tab. Do not force it or pry at it. Some do get stuck but be sure again all fasteners are taken off. If a problem arises post the issue here and someone can help you out. Keep the throttle and the LU in the same gear when removing and replacing the LU. They must go back the same way they came off for shifting purposes. If when replacing the LU it seems stuck and won,t go all the way up gently turn the flywheel to get the splines lined up and make sure the shift shaft is in it,s proper position. Same for the water tube.
