47-F433065-2 this is the part no: I was told is for the impeller. On my Chrysler parts list. it says part no: 40065-1. Is this correct and where can I get this at. I checked iboats (1971 Chrysler 55HP outboard. model 557HC serial 3188)
The 4065 will work. It is a 10 vane impeller. The impeller I posted is a 6 vane and will give you better water pressure. Chrysler part manuals were all updated for the 6 vane impeller. I have used both and had terrible luck with the 10 vane. They kept breaking. My 6 vane has lasted for 3 seasons without a problem.
