Let's be frank here, miloman, to have a starter repaired is less than $100, reseal the lower unit also less than $100, so, for under $200 your motor is fixed up and you are more or less in the recommended hp range. This is, if that is all that is wrong with your 'rude seeing that you've got so many threads open with different stories/problems on each one.<br /><br />You now want to purchase a 60hp, for $1000's, which is way over (50%) the recommended HP. Personally I think it's not a good idea, but then it seems you'll keep on asking untill you hear the answer you want to hear.<br /><br />If it was myself, I'd take all the good advise given by the numerous good people on this board and use it...
