i am planing or would like to place my fishfinder transducer as well as my depth transducer thru hull in the front of my boat will the shoot through a keel shield...

Tranducers only work in contact with water. So if your going fast you will not have the tranducer in the water hence no reading.<br />Now you should put the ducers in the rear of the boat and either thu-hull or on the transom would be good. Keelguard should not interfere at all.

ya like i said id like to put it in the front section of the boat ,,,above a keelshield will it shoot through the keel shield..

Now I'm confused. Are you talking about a thru-hull or a shoot-thru?

it came with my lowrance df fishfinder.....it says it can be mounted either way .....epoxied to hull etc.....shoot through
