I have a 50 hp, Chrysler/Force Model No. 507X7A, Ser. No.1513. I am not sure what year (could it be a 1977? that is what title says).I need a rectifier and a circuit breaker. Circuit breaker has a two numbers on it (12V25A & 156). It is about 1"x 1/2" x 1/2" with two posts for mounting and has a reset switch on the end. The rectifier has what looks like FPI 40 40 and 3616 or 8616).

Does anyone know where I can find replacement parts?

Re: In need of electrical parts

The circuit breaker part number says it all, 12 volt at 25 amp, try the iBoats Mega Mall. The
rectifier number 3616 or 8616 is likely 8616 and seems to indicate a date code of 19(86) week 16. If you haven't removed it yet make sure you note which wire(s) connects to each terminal and carefully check the body of the rectifier for some terminal designation markings or symbols, many rectifiers are square but cannnot be installed just any old way. I will be out of town for a week so follow ups from my end will be unlikely. Good luck.

Hello cogdell and welcome to Iboats. First of all the motor is 1987. The Rectifier is mercury number FK650450 and is $32.65 and the circuit breaker is mercury number 88F510460 and it costs $13.20. You can buy these parts from any Mercury dealer or if you need a link to buy them on the internet I can post a link for you.

Thanks for the information. How did you know it was a 1987 motor? This is a Chrysler/Force motor. Mercury parts can be used as replacements? I would appreciate that link to the Mercury parts. Thanks for your assistance.

eurolarva, Thanks for the info. How did you determine it was a 1987 motor? This is a Chrysler/Force motor. I know that Mercury bought Force, so Mercury parts will serve as replacements? I would appreciate you posting the link. Thanks again.

Here is the link. Just find your motor model number by horse power and then you can find whatever part you want. If you have a local merc dealer use them so you wont have to pay 15 bucks shipping
parts link
