I need a picture of (facing the front of the engine standing in the boat) the left side of the carb. I searched around, but didn't find much. This one is the area that I need to see, but I need to see from more of a horizontal angle. http://forums.iboats.com/showpost.php?p=1741933&postcount=15

I'm in a hurry getting ready for class. I will make a little intro post when I get back from class with all the engine info and more.

Thanks in advance.

I havn't learned these terms yet, I just found this place and signed on.

I'm trying to put it back together correctly. long story, I just need a pic to compare too. I wasn't paying close enough attention when I tok it off. long story there. But I need to get it back together, start her up and start diagnosing the huge lack of power. That will be a whole other thread after I get this back together.

What am I lacking?? I thought I was someone specific of what I was in need of. How many different 4 bbl webers to mercruisers have??

This is my first boat. I'm learning the boat stuff. I'v been reading through this place for a few days, and I'v found some very useful information. I already have some good ideas on where to start diagnosing. At least I didn't post here with an engine that doesn't even run asking "what's wrong".

I have looked all over this place and google for a picture that I need and I havn't found it.

The OEM service manual probably has drawings and information to cover what you need to know. But till we know what you have, it's impossible to show you where the info is. Don't expect everyone with a Weber carb to go take pictures for you.

No, I don't expect them to.
I figured someone already had some pics of that carb in their photobucket or something of the sort. Does it really matter what boat or engine the carb it sitting on when it's probably the same 4 bbl weber carb across the board? If there is service manual stuff to be found online, then I will try and find it.
It's more of the finished product that I need though.

It's a 94 bayliner capri with a mercruiser 4.3lx. Not sure of the outdrive yet. I'm sure its says clear as day what model mercruiser outdrive it it, I just havn't looked yet. It has a vortec out of a blazer(not sure of year). The carb is the original that came on the boat.

Thats the throttle shaft return spring.... I really really really hope you didn't find a way to pull the throttle shaft out, which is what I think ya did if your messing with that spring.

nah. I thought I needed to pull those few things off for clearence to get the valve cover off. I should have just un bolted the whole carb assembly. Just needing to get the stuff back on that shaft.
