still in trouble there looking for the year of make only thing i have is modle no e50rnlic evenrude can any 1 help tks

The model number should tell us the year but i think you have misread it

Two of the letters should give us the year from the letters of the word INTRODUCES where I=1, N=2 etc up to E=9 and S=0

so the letters CN together would be '82


Check the number again and then confirm the year from This site

The BRP website gives
E50BEERE E50BELERE E50TELERE and E50TLERE as model numbers for 1994 50hp Evinrudes

and E48ESLERD 1994 for the 1994 48hp

In all cases ER are the date letters for 1994

Johnson models begin with J

As someone already pointed out in your duplicate thread, your outboard is a military model from 1994.
