I've been to Gravely Point Ramp a few times with my sis-in-law to launch her jet skis and yes they do put signs there, but they rarely last for more than a day before they are torn down and thrown in the water. The absolute worst time to launch and retrieve is in the late afternoon. You would think you are in Mexico! Out of control kids running all over the place and actually splashing around and swimming at the end of the ramp. If you try to be nice and ask them to move they parents look at you like you have a third eye or you get the standard "no hable ingles".
After dealing with this for a few trips, I got where we would prep the skis then start backing down the ramp with the horn blaring. Let me tell ya they "hable" that!
That place is an absolute zoo!
