I have DSL internet access which is carried over the phone lines. The line is running from a pole behind my house to an attach point on the eaves.
In the middle of this run, there is a low spot as the wire droops and in this low spot, loose bits of data keep collecting and clogging up the lines which slows down my internet speeds enormously.
I go out occasionally and knock the wires around a bit with a broom stick which clears things up for a while but then after a few days, the blockage returns.

How can I keep the lines clear from this blockage?

I think the best way is to get three small balloons and fill with helium.
Put one right in the center of the droop and the other 2 to 4 feet on either side.
By adjusting the level of helium with the baro pressure and the new moon phase the data bits can actually accelerate in between the balloon sections. This creates a suction ( like syphoning gas) which pulls the lagging data and starting a ram effect into the left quadrant of the modem.

I thought everyone knew this..

It may be old technology but I believe vacuum tubes are the answer to your problem. Install them at the receiving end and they should suck the bits of information trough all but the toughest low spots. I'm going fo have to give this advice to the neighbors I steal wy-fi from. The downloads have been a little slow lately.

haha before i got high speed i needed to download a large file and a neighbor was kind enough to let me come over with my laptop and gave me there password i left the computer on as i walked home and was dissapointed when i lost signal about 25 feet from my house

There are always problems with the internet at work. I think I'll forward this thread off to the head of the IT department. Maybe one of these solutions will work for them too.
