that video looked horrendous but if you watch in the first segment, there is a room just off the main ding area. upper right corner of screen the people never leave their table. it almost looks as if they continue to eat. LOL

that faceplant had to hurt.

ha! never saw that, yeah they sit nearly motionless almost till the end , almost makes the rest of it look staged hehe

Yea those people in the next room have me scratching my head as well.
There are people sliding all over, seems like an easy way to get wacked, the guy sliding with the server station is funny too.
Howard's story was great, bombed gift shoppe. :D

1. An object in motion stays in motion
2. I hope the captain had his lanyard securely fastened to his body
3. 25% off there next cruise? WTF? How about VIP at Dr. Dentist cause that lady at 47 seconds is going to need extensive dental work the way her grille got waxed.

I can't help but laugh my *** off but this is under the presumption no one was seriously hurt or killed. I stopped laughing when I saw the forklift. That server guy is my hero...the way he corralled that serving station until the end...give that man a raise!

Good lord this makes me never want to go on a cruise...looks like it's shot from a search and rescue heli.

That guy stepped out of the way just in time before that forklift went whizzing by. That was close.

Being Navy for over 15 years so far, this type of stuff is almost a "normal" everyday event onboard our warships (North Atlantic off the coast of Canada), but, we also "secure for sea". Everything is bolted or tied down, and heavy equipment is mounted on springs and shock absorbers. Cruise ships are designed much differently with active balast systems and stabilizers, but still, it looks like the skipper was taking heavy abeam seas, never a good situation. He should be either taking the heavy seas from astern or like we normally do, go "head on" with the bow into the wind. Makes for a "bumpy" ride, but, you break less stuff that way...:p

That is scariest footage I have ever seen for a ship that size. You mean to tell me all that heavy equipment (forklift mygod) is not chained down when idle? That thing could punch a hole in the side of the ship. Very good post/vid and learning situation. What rouge seas? A ship that size must have weather radar for pity sakes. Who calls batten down the hatches on this tub? Captian to passengers, "we are experienceing some rough seas watch out that the piano doesn't crush your guts out against the bar" you may want to take small children into a padded cell" I tought all that stuff was lashed in place. I've never been on a cruise. What an eye opener!

Captian to passengers: (in the best Queens english with soft music playing in the back ground) "For your entertainment tonight, we will be having The Cruise House Band On Stage at the pool located near the Fore deck... update correction","we will be having the band IN the pool on the Fore deck". For your sporting pleasure.. any passenger who is able to hold onto the Band's Bass Fiddle overboard while screaming "HELP" ( must be audible above the crashing of the Sea) will be entitled to a free shrimp cocktail delivered to your stateroom". "Of course, provided you can be rescued, dried off, and in your room on time to recieve your prize". "You may not use this gift with any other coupons or special buffet meals with your passage to the Burmuda Triangle, children under 8 free" (provided you can find them) "So I'm Just sayin". HOLD ON TO YOUR ARSE! and now back to a little dittie by Mr. James Buffet called...Oh my Jesus what the heck is that? It must be 80 feet tall... Screechhhhhhhhhhhh.

Our IT contractor and his missus were passengers on that boat, he said it got pretty messy with gear getting smashed up and people puking everywhere.

He said the good thing was that after that storm they opened up the bar and it was free booze for everone untill they got back to Auckland for repairs.
