I just bought a 13? inflatable and I am looking for a place to buy accessories for it. Any one know of any good web sites that has gear at a reasonable price?

Depends on what kind of gear you're looking for. How are you wanting to outfit it?

The boat will be used mostly for diving, recreation, and some fishing. It will be in both fresh and salt water. I am really looking for general items. Thanks

I like my fixed seat set up from Boatstogo.com. They have theit own accessories, and links to other sites for things they don't carry.

Re: Inflatable accessories

Today I received a bow storage compartment from allinflatables or something like that. Not quite as impressive as the reviews on the website. It's bit smaller and not nearly as well constructed as they and their "reviews" state. The nylon is pretty thin and unimpressive.

I suppose it will do for now until I can find a company to duplicate it in a 1000 Denier with some heavy duty zippers. Then it will be for sale at triple the cost, because you'll only need to buy it once.

The one I bought will probably at best last a year. Even using the supplied elastic cord and keepers the seams are parting slightly.

I think a product review thread is in order. Of course I'm new and one may exist already.

Well it's been about a year and the bow-storage bag has fallen apart. Though that happened at the end of summer. So after roughly four months, it failed.

The sewn in corner tie loops (4 in the corners) 2 tore out. The zipper, even with good cleaning after each trip, corroded shut and stitching pulled apart along the zipper and where the corner tie loop is.

If it was used exclusively for very light items and removed from the boat prior to any kind of use, I suppose it would last. Great idea, POOR design. In my opinion it is NOT worth it.
