I wasn't aware that they have them that go off under pressure. how far under do you need to be to go off? I just didn't want them to go off when getting soaked fishing.

Mine is rated for 6" of water pressure. It is also recommended that you test fire the PDF when you first get it, just to make sure everything is good. Refill kits are only about $20.
