Anybody use one? It's for the kids. Have never done it and probably wont happen ofter. Looking at:

Stearns Spree or Sea Eagle 330 from Cabellas
Skedaddle from W.Marine

Any comments will be appreciated (probably!).

I've used one on some lakes in Colorado, and plan on using it for rafting down some of the rivers in Colorado as well. They are maybe a little more stable than a canoe, but are more portable.

What type of water do you plan to use it on? IKs are not too good for long flatwater boating and they can be tough to paddle in windy conditions. They make a great swim platform and do well on rivers. If you want to look at medium to high-end IKs, visit northwest river supply on the internet.

I picked up a coleman on clearance at walmart, its fun, but when I put it in the river I make sure I only have to go down river. Going up river wears me out. Would be great for places with low current though, and fun for kids for sure.
