New to this forum and also new to SIB's I have a brand new Saturn 12' and on the 3-rd time out the seam on the wright side to the front where the front chamber connects to the side one gave up and I'm sure that was a inflation order error because I kept the boat inflated on my porch for over a month. Now I set up the boat at the launching ramp and we did not paid attention to the inflating order, I was pumping on one side my friends on the other side. But let me make it short, is an airdek, there is a specific order of inflation? By the way I fixed the problem and now is OK
Thank you for your time

Re: inflation order

Inflation order would be : tubes, airdeck, keel. Usually inflate both side tubes first, then bow to 1.0 psi, then go inflating in a merry go round 0.5 psi step progression per tube untill sib/rib reaches 3.0-3.5 psi. Inflating without a gauge won't have the slight idea which tube has more or less air; don't ever leave a inflated sib outside specially in summer, cover it and deflate half total pressure. Air mat should be inflated at the end along with keel when all tubes have reached their factory recommended working pressure.

Happy Boating
