info needed on my new 72 starcraft capri

I just got a starcraft 15' capri and the id plate was painted over, I cleaned off the plate and it was sanded bare aside from the serial#. So I am looking for all the info on it i can get. It has a 1965 Sea King 50hp o/b on it. It seems to be in fair to good shape. the floor is sold as far as i can tell and it is solid below the trans. Ist it possible to get to the bow mount, the point were the trailer connects to the boat to pull it back on the trailer? it has come loose and has pulled away by an inch or so.

Welcome to iboats...here's a link to some Starcraft brochures.

We don't have the '72 yt but the Capri models were made all thru the 70s and didn't change too much. You should be able to track down the specs somewhere in those.
