I have a 15hp chrysler 1979, and a 1977 6hp chrysler and trying to find out if everything is ok with the 15, on idle it spits/sprays water out and pretty much does the same all the way through the rpms, is this normal as its not a jet like some people tell me I should have, the water gets warm but not overly hot! do these lower power models have a thermostat? I have had a look at the impeller and it looks ok, i noticed the housing has a small drilled hole in it(looks like its supposed to be there?) its this the reason its not a strong spray?
