Got rid of your duplicate post for you, moving this one over to the OMC forum. The 432bplkd number is OMC, not Volvo. The Volvo number would have been something like 4.3GLXXXXX

Would bet the serial number starts with a T correct? That is OMC.
OMC and Volvo were in a joint venture for several years. There was a Volvo version and an OMC version. Similar, but some differences also.

You can swap the automotive module with the marine one without a difference. It just triggers spark so their isn't any difference as far as performance. Just make sure the pinouts are the same.

The cam shaft you will have to get one with the same lift/duration on it. If you don't, you will throw off your powerband, fuel economy, and mix up the computer's ability to try and "tune" your engine.

Advance curves is what the difference is between modules. If the S10 has a different advance curve than the marine version, guess what, they are not the same.
I have no clue what the curve is or what the module number is for an S10, but if it's not the same as the marine version, then it's obviously not the same.
