just purchased boat, has the 125/270 or whatever i know its inline 4 cyl, on muffs in driveway it runs at 180 on guage, is this normal oper temp?

Here is a copy and paste from the OEM service manual for the 125A and B engines.

COOLING SYSTEM
Thermostat
Type Wax thermostat
Start opening at ............................. 82?C (180?F)
Fully open at .................................. 92?C (198?F)

took boat out yesterday for 1st run, we loved it, runs about 35 with 5 of us, 2 adults, 3 kids tubing, rpm was around 45, seems to be doing well, was worried bout the cooling, on muffs seemed to get warm like 220, but at lake dead on 180 idling, and 190 maybe 200 at times wot round and round lake constant, ran it all day long this way, seems to be doing very well
