Gentlemen I have owned boats all of my adult life, but have never worked on them myself. I always paid someone else to do it, winterize, routine maintenance etc. The marina loved me. having recently retired (more time less money) I am going to try and do more of the work myself. My first question is probably a simple one for someone that knows more than me ,but how do you get the bottom spark plug out on a 1984 115hp inline 6. Does the lower cowling come off or something like that thanks in advance

Use a 13/16" end wrench. Comes right out.

It's actually easier to get to if that's the last plug you take out and the first one you put back in.
