Inline Male fuel connector with 3/8" barb?

Does such a thing exist? I have 2 Merc outboards that I am trying to match up to all of my Johnson tanks and hoses. The mercs have the bayonet style and the Johnson's are all the regular 2 prong. I'd rather not have to swap the whole hose as I want to use one of the mercs as a kicker/back up to the main Johnson pulling fuel from the same set of tanks.... I just want a pigtail about 6" long attached to the motor with a bayonet and an empty 2 prong male (engine side) Johnson connector, then swap the Johnson side of the connector between the main and the kicker. Or run the same set up on another boat with a main Merc and use all the 12gal Johnson-fitted tanks/hoses....

That is exactly what I want to make. I can't find any male in-line connectors for the 2 prong Johnson plug to do it, though. Where did you get yours?

That connecter has little demand.------Therefor it is not a stock item at Wall Mart.---------Most dealers will have used ones just laying around or order you a new one.

He probably took it off an old motor. Part number 0393334. Around 55 dollars new. I have 7 or 8 of them. Any person with OMC parts should have several.

You should be able to find it fairly cheap less than $20 off of ebay, You can also use the threaded tank connector and just screw a nipple onto it. I have a couple made because I have 4 different connectors on my motors.

Those connectors were used on umpteen thousands of motors in the 1950-1970 era. It has been replaced with a non-drip version on newer motors with a large price increase. You should be able to get a used one (old version) for $15 or less. In case you wonder, the third prong is to prevent attaching the hose end backwards---serves no other function.

Thanks for the info. I found some on ebay from Europe for $12 plus shipping. Not bad, $30 total.
