Can an inside transducer be mounted with epoxy and work in a aluminum boat?

I don't think so with the exception of recently reading that one of the fishfinder manufacturers have now come out with a "alumaducer". I think it was Vexilar.

Absolutely. See here:

http://www.radarsonics.com

Worth looking around at the website. They have other options for 'ducers in aluminum boats.

www.vexilar.com About $135 by the time you buy the unit and the adaptor cable. Worth every penny as far as I am concerned. I HATE drilling holes in a boat.

That's the hot ticket there.

UFM82
