hi,

I am going to install t&t unit on my j60elesm Johnson (1990) it only has the manual tilt and it is a major PITA when retrieving. So I found a cheap one over here that will fit my motor.
Only thing is that I have never used one never mind installing it.

I am mechanically inclined so the installation isn't bothering me, motor works fine also.
The only question i have is the exact wiring of it. Does it go trim motor - a solenoid (or two) then to switch, With the battery gounding at the solenoid and the power going to the switch and the solenoid?
It's a two wire motor and someone mention a relay unit to me?? the guy i got it from was clueless and hadn't a notion on how it worked..

If this doesn't make sense then sorry it's just I'm lost on how to properly wire this up and before ya all start with the "get yourself a manual " it's enroute somewhere over asia I hope but still won't see it for another week or more. I swopped the engine for my Mariner 30 and the PO didn't have a manual..

Even a rough drawing will suffice

thanks.
