Well Last night was fun,
I installed a Uflex Dual Cable, Standard Rotary Helm, T72FC-where an old 1997 R/P set up had actually gummed up on me so bad I finally replaced everything. If anyone needs help just let me know...It wasn't too bad --but trying to drill a 3-1/4" hole where you already have a 2-1/8" hole was a ##$$%^&&@##........Remind me to never do that again.....
I even went and bought a lenox 3-1/4" hole bit which i thought would make this a snap install---This took about an hour to finally get through the old hole and once past the hard plastic shell of the console it grabbed and finally drilled in...
Whew --glad this winter job is done--now onto gel-coat...
