installing a fuel guage

i would like to install a fuel guage on my boat ,it did not come with one but i think it will be easier than jumping over the windsheid and looking down the tank to see how much fuel i got.anyone have any ideas and how to install one

Do you have a permanent tank? If so, they usually have a sender or at least the port for a sender. Then you need the gauge and some wiring.

If not, just buy a six gallon tank and when the first tank runs dry, switch over and get ready to head home.
