Is there any special techniques or tricks for installing a new pull start spring & rope???What type of material is best for the rope????How long do I cut the rope????Any information is grestLY appreciated,STURGEON GENERAL.

It can be tricky, Jim, and it can also be quite dangerous. That spring is a metallic cobra.<br /><br />I think your best bet is to get/borrow and use an OEM Service Manual.<br /><br />Good luck.
