Does any one have any advice on attaching a couple of seats into a rib?
Im a bit cautious about drilling into the floor?

Firstly what's the floor made of? Ive looked at other threads and noted advice on drilling a hole through the floor to reach under and fasten a bolt through but if you have bolt holes widely spread that's a lot of big holes!

Does any one have any links to marine hardware (for floor anchors (assuming they exist)).

My plan was to build a metal frame and attach 2/3 seats on top. I then want to put this at the back just in front of the outboard.

What's the best way of securing this to the floor?

This is probably quite a broad question (how longs a piece of string!) but any ideas of advice will be much appreciated.

thanks

Yeah, that's a pretty broad question... RIB floors can be made from all sorts of things- Fiberglass, aluminum, wood... among others.

Some RIB's don't really have a 'floor' in them, just a hull. Drilling that would be a bad thing...

You need to provide more information before anyone is going to be able to help- At least some photos or something!

I'm going to view this one, (its a long link!)

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Bombard-Explo...ultDomain_3&hash=item4aa223d820#ht_503wt_1139

It looks to me like a fibreglass floor but Im not sure weather it will be coated ply, in any case would a floor on a rib like this be suitable to anchor straight into?

Im going to see if there is a manufacture's website to see if they can shed any light but if any one can brain storm with be I would appreciate it as this may influence my decision to buy!
