installing a tach & speedometer

I have a late 80s or very early 90s Evinrude SPL 88hp (not sure exactly because the model/serial has been scraped or painted over). I want to intall a tach and speedometer. Is this possible and if so is it SIMPLE? Would it be something you guys could explain to me how to do? Any help will be greatly appreciated.<br /><br />Thanks

It's ah walk in tha park. All the speedo is is a pressure gauge. You'll have to run a little rubber(?) tube from the transom to the gauge. The transom end of the tube connects to a little pitot the mounts on the bottom of the transom with two screws and hangs down in the water. The tach is a three wire affair with all three wires coming from the remote control.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty
