NO NO NO NO<br /> unless you wish to become proficient at changing flywheel keys. if anything lap the tapers or at least clean both surfaces with rubbing alchohol or similar solvent. clean,dry and oil free with the proper nut torque. the key just indexes the flywheel to the crank. the taper actually holds it in place. if the flywheel shears a key it due to improper taper fit or improper nut torque. and eithercase will require at least checking the taper fit with 3 pencil lines on the crank.
