We are installing a new Lowrance 332c on a 2001 Lund Explorer 1650SS. (here was no sonar/locator on tis boat). Everything I read says there is a possibility of electrical interference when power cable and/or transducer cable is run near existing electrical cable. How close is close - 2", 6", 1 foot? We want to run transducer thru existing cable pathways - from console back (bilge wiring, horn wiring, etc.) to battery. Also, can we run sonar power next to transducer cable or should that be separated? Again, seperated by what distance?
