I purchased 2 LED lights to be installed underwater at the transom. The model I got requires a 1/4" hole to be drilled throught the hull. How can I be sure that I am not drilling into wiring, or worse, the gas tank when I do the install.

Thanks in advance,
-JP

+1 for drill from the inside :D
if you cant be certain you will not hit something when drilling in expensive boat, suggest that perhaps it best to have someone do it that can. That way they get to pay for the repairs when they mess up ur pretty boat.
