Instant Boats book

I'm thinking about buying Payson's "The New Instant Bosts" to build the Diablo model. Anyone know if the plans in the book are enough to build from or will I have to buy the plan sheets too?<br /><br />Need something to hang my '74 Merc 20 on.

Yeah there are a few plans, but its better to order the full-sized plans. A guy named Jim Michalak (do a web search) also has a good book, with bigger plans included. Post photos when you get going...I'm jealous, don't have room right now.

Neither do I at the moment and it will be early next year before I get to start this one. I'm just adding it to my list of other projects (buy new house with garage, privacy fence, build good workshop, paint my work truck, restore the '74 merc I want to put on it, etc.. - ya know, normal stuff... -insert frown here -. My wife is already cringing as this would be boat #3. She has given me permission to buid a garage in a couple years to store them in.<br /><br />I'll check out the other source. I really like the simplicity of the diablo, but am open to other ideas. I have some time to mull it over. Will be sure to take pics.
