Insulating foam under hood falling apart

On my '94 'Rude 20 hp, the foam under the hood is chunking off in small chucks. I'm thinking in a matter of time, a bit will end up in my carb...if it hasn't already.

Question: Is this foam anything special...like gas/oil resistant? What should I look for for replacement?

Firstly, get rid of it. Secondly look here for replacement.

OK BRP...yes, but what about the stuff at hobby stores etc. Is it the same stuff that is a lot quicker to get?
