Insurance anyone?

I am happy to have found iboat forums. All have been very helpful - and generous and gentle with their comments on my questions. For some reason though I have not been able to find a forum or mention of boat insurance. Surely that is a topic worth discussing. Can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Most insurance companies will give you a quote on-line
Check GEICO / AIG / ETC
They're all different, sometimes by as much as $200
So it pays to check them all out

What are you wanting to know?

Yes, you should have it, at least liability. What if you run over some poor sap on a tube? Or worse yet, something like the story linked in another post where a Baja ran right over a sailboat that was supposedly traveling without nav lights after dark.

Personally I opt for "full coverage" and I use USAA. All total, $248 per year.
