Insurance company advertising opportunity

I was thinking about the guy who got his boat shot up in the melee catching the second brother. I read where "America" is going to buy him another. Some gal was sending a $25 to his home for her contribution. Well that's a great idea but implementation of such a thing would take some planning to keep it on the up and up and ensure that he got all that was coming to him.

However, his insurance company could come in and (ensuring that they have positive press coverage) say that they would replace his boat with another to his liking no questions asked. None of this sending this little shave tail appraiser out to talk you out of the protection for which you have been paying premiums. No invoking the "war or insurrection" clause where coverage is void.

I made the derogatory remark having had experience in the subject matter.

your 100 percent correct .and indeed in lots of polices they have and out for such as what happened.

i think it is ludicrous how insurance company's always try to weasel out of paying.
i would definitely consider the company he is insured with if they replaced his boat with something of equal or greater value
without asking for the deductible

has a feel good ring to it but reality is that everyone with a policy with whatever insurance company would be picking up the tab. i'm drawn a little more to the voluntary gifts from individuals.

in fact, here's one for the gentleman who helped identify one of the bombers after he woke up from double leg amputation...well, the bomb did most of the work. i'm torn on this one as this is setup under his girlfriend and, unfortunately, the obstacles ahead of them make me wonder. i would rather it was setup under his name to guarantee that the money ends up in his accts: https://funds.gofundme.com/index.php?route=donate2/donate&url=BucksforBauman

i haven't done much research but i understand there there are many of these types of fundraisers going on.
