Intake Manifold Cracks

Just finished switching to 7 point drain. Now the problem I'm having is that the engine wont heat up at all. Block is filling up with water and water is exiting the exhaust ports. I checked to make sure thermostat is in correct way. I pulled housing an stat does appear to be closed. Checked temp with gauge and IR temp reader. Temp wont go past 70ish degrees. Check stat in pan and did not open until 160. Also its not idleing right. What am I am I missing?

ok, cleaned the threads from temp sensor and is well now. After switching from 3 point to 7 point drain my temp problems seem to be gone. My stat housing runs about 150ish on outside. Gauge on dash never goes above 175 (previously would go up to 195). Also manifolds went from 210 to 170ish. Thanks.
