I glad we don't have to put up with that, not even at the shore....

I can't figure out how he got into that position in the first place.

We also have a problem with ramp etiquette here in Central Cal. Some people will back down to the water and bring the friends car down next to the boat and start loading the boat taking up the whole ramp.

This is why I don't carry a side arm, I am often way to tempted to use it at the ramp.

Fortunately being a retired State Firefighter I get in free at the State Park Lake. So I guess I shouldn't complain about the ramp mongers.

Re: interesting mess at the launch

Ran into a situation similar to this at a local lake I like to fish. First guy on the left had his boat in the ramp parallel to the shore blocking the first two spots to launch. Couldn't get his boat started with his 8 friends yet never thought to walk the boat at least to the edge of the dock instead of having it blocking the ramp. On the other side someone was in a 6 cyl. pickup pulling a boat way too big that he couldn't get out of the water, having people pile into the bed to try and get it out. On top of all this a nice thundercell was rolling in behind the 8 or so boats that were waiting to get in. Luckily I was first in line but that was a bad day for those other guys who waited for this guy to get his act together.
