I built new plywood consoles for my boat and am in the process of putting on a finish coat. I sanded out one section of the ply too much and it got wavy looking so I've been applying the Interlux Pre Kote to the deeper areas to build it back up. The process is working but it takes at least a full day for each coat to dry. My son sanded one part yesterday that wasn't fully cured and it got bubble gummy.
This stuff (Pre Kote) does work but anybody know of a faster setting or easier way to level things back out? I was thinking about trying a couple coats of Rustoleum Filler Primer. If I did a couple coats of that do you think Interlux Brightside would adhere to the Rustoleum or would I just end up with an even bigger mess?
