Intermediate housing oil

I have an omc stringer out drive, I had to remove the driveshaft out of intermediate housing but don't know what the procedure is for refilling it with oil. I know there is a drain plug under steering gear and another plug on top.

If you have the factory manual (needed to properly swap the shaft), it states where to fill. Hint(its on the side and bottom)

Intermediate or upper gear case?

Scott's gotcha' on the upper gear case, but for the intermediate there is a port top dead center just outside of the transom boot.

It is not the upper gear case it is intermediate. What kind of oil would I use here?

Typical 90w gear lube for the intermediate.
