Intermediate Housing Question 800 drive

Is there any difference between the intermediate housings used on Ford vs GM V8 engines?
Looking at the exploded view diagrams on the net would lead me to believe they are likely the same.
Anyone know for sure?

I have a boat with the 800 drive and a 305 Chevy engine that I am parting out. I have a fellow who wants the intermediate housing but his boat has a 351 Ford. I don't want to sell this to him if it will not work for him.

I'd be concerned with bolt patterns on the bell housing and differences in the coupler. Hopefully someone with more knowledge of the differences will chime in soon.

The other thing to look at is the Shaft size and splines...

I have a ford one if you need it.
