Intermittant Trolling Motor Problems

I have a Motor Guide 40 that intermittantly stops working when the foot pedal turns the motor :confused: :confused: appoximetly 30 degrees. <br />Are there electrical brushes inside that supply voltage to the motor? I don't know how it works.<br />Any help would be appreciated...

Just take the top of the motor apart and look for some broken wiring, etc. Easy to do.
