I have a ''''91 Bayliner..(quit laughin'),It has a Force 90 "L" Drive in it.My choke selenoid somtimes works and sometime it dont.I have checked the incoming voltage(6.8 VDC) and did the ohm check as outlined in the book and all seems good here.Ignition switch is working fine. So, I am leaning to an internal fault(i.e. dirty contacts, plunger etc.)I just wanted to know if any of you have any ideas that I have not thought about. Also, my "authorized Bayliner Dealer" says that the selonoid is "obsolete" any ideas where I can get one? Thanks,Squirt

Re: Intermittent Choke Selenoid

6.8 volts sounds low to me. I'd be looking for a poor connection, ground, or bad choke switch.
