Internal parts for Johnson controls?

I have a 1978 70 hp Johnson that will not shift in to reverse. I took the shifting controls apart and found that the two plastic gear parts are worn out. Where can I buy these parts?<br />Thank you much!<br />Chuck

Chuck.... There are a few different nylon tooth type gears depending of which control box you have. They should be available at your local dealership.<br /><br />Also, I may still have some of them in my remaining stock. If you can send a few pictures of what you speak of to my email address (below), I'll check to see if I have them.
