iol gas ratio 1985

I want to know the ratio for 1985 20hp evinrude , there's a tag writen 100/1 but it's not clear , everyone says it's impossible ? thanks

No, they did build some made to run at 100:1....wasn't long OMC sent out a SB saying to go back to 50:1-which I would recommend.
The biggest problem was the lack of a good internal coating of oil to stop rust and corrosion from forming.
A good TC-W3 oil at 50:1 and fresh 87 octane will treat you well.
