I knew it! If I was smart...I wouldnt be doing what I'm doing!
LOL , most of us have at least thought this very thing .
What the chart shows is a gradually increasing upper limit of IQ ranges , as the level of educational requirements increases .
While the lower measured IQ 's ALSO increased , those of only slightly above average IQ's could be found in most every occupation listed .
No great surprises here , but , intellect does not immediately translate into real - world achievement/success .
Far from it , IME .
Some of the most highly "educated" individuals I have ever met could barely tie thier own shoelaces .
Great for theory and raw facts , completely useless for anything beyond a schematic .
Also , some of the least "educated" individuals were some of the brightest , and , talented , individuals I have ever met .
They can see a blueprint or schematic once , and , make it work flawlessly .
Just do not ask them to do long division .
Those gifted in 1 or 2 areas are often handicapped in others , sometimes tragically so .
