i have never seen a report as to how much it cost to store the spent fuel for 10,000 years.<br /><br />Its got to be a LOT of money <br /><br />Never mind a reactor core every 40 years, we layed up the plant on long island to be PC and it cost BILLIONS to cut it up and put it into safe storage<br /><br />And how much is it going to cost to get all the stuff laying around way to long in US plants to the 10,000 year storeage place<br /><br />tommays

Ok, I think I have this figured out; in addition to our own national debt, we also carry ½ of Israel’s nation debt. No small piece of change, it's a welfare state. Israel owes us and she owes us real big time (I kind of feel sorry now for having gone to Paris and making it known to every Frenchman that they owe us). Iran wants nukes, and has $1/2-trillion available. We should sell our interest of Israel’s debt to Iran, then Israel can trade nukes to Iran to settle the debt. This has the potential for a win-win-win! We get repaid the money we are owed, Iran gets her nukes, and Israel gets to retire her debt.

Destroying Iran's nuclear program with out a<br />viable plan to disable the Iranian government and<br />military, Would be no plan at all.<br />
