Ok, I can certainly understand Iran wanting nukes. If they got nukes, all of a sudden they've got a chip in the big game and a seat at the big table.

At the very least, we have to convince the Iranian people why it is in their interest to not get nukes, other than we don't want them to have them, when all the rest of the countries that do are treated differently.

The Israelis answer to that question is "no comment"... but the rest of that region are sure convince they do, which is just as good as having them from Israelis point of view.

If Iran gets Nukes, they won't just threaten, they will export them via terrorist to your back yard.... a bit of a difference.

We did neither. Speculation is that the Israelis ran an OP and stole the materials from US. sometime around the1960's.... again, noone knows for sure.

You will never convince the Iranian people of that, at least not until they use one.... then of course it's too late and a million+ people are dead.

I just said, don't be so sure.......
I can't prove we did, you cannot prove we did not.....
No one would 'fess up if Israel stole them & certainly no one would say if we sold/gave them any......
They would need to deploy one to open that can of worms......
Then we would know for sure where they came from.....
Let's hope it never comes to that.......JK

The Iranian election was as about as honest as Saddam or Putin getting elected "democratacly". He is the one the clerics (who use him as a puppet) wanted, so he is the one that is there.

Got that right, he's just a mouth piece, and if they ever want to change direction they will just change presidents.... kinda handy that.
