The problem is really the interpetation of "force" and especially "war".
My interpetation and support of war at the time is what we used to get into Iraq. We certainly did that well enough but then the definition somehow changed. Todays definition of war isn't something that I agree with any longer.
Todays definition is causing us to loose lives, support, and the....war!
History has proven we loose far less men and support when we are on the offensive. When we actually fight a war to win.
It is only after the mission changes from war to politics we start to lose men and support.
History has also proven that two Bush Presidents are superb at winning initial battles against the same one country but are incapable of winning a war with it.
I'm not sure which is more interesting, 3 Presidents in Vietnam or a father/son Presidential team in Iraq.
However, different countrys, different Presidents, same outcome.
Now all we have to do is learn what the new meaning of "win" and "lose" is.
