I have an old 1984 Johnson GT150 for parts and was wondering if I could safely use the old 582106 coils from it on a 1995 Johnson 115hp that uses 582508 coils.
yes, but you will need to cut the primary in the connector and install CDI terminals to fit the new primary terminal nipple on the new coils. i do it all the time.
